This 1994 adaptation of the Anne Rice novel stars Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst.
The beautiful costumes, which come from eras spanning the 18th century through the 1990s, were designed by Sandy Powell . Don't be afraid to ask me about ensembles from this film that aren't listed here; I love doing custom projects!

This is the original Victorian-style bustle gown created for Kirsten Dunst to wear in the film. This "natural form" bustle style comes from the late 1870s and early 1880s. The fullness in the back is created with a special petticoat and plenty of "poof" in the gathered (in this case, ruched) fabric at the rear of the dress' overskirt, and not a structured bustle or pad worn under the gown (as was the fashion in the earlier 70s and later 80s).
My standard version of the gown, shown here without the ruched, film-correct train. Petticoat is available, but not included (see below).
